I recently lost 56 pounds (and counting!) largely do to Spinning & eating healthy. Now I can run again, and I actually like it! I'm not a good swimmer, don't have a pool to train in and am pretty scared of almost any water other than a pool, s TRIs are not an option, BUT...I'm going to do a Sprint Duathlon in September! I'm really excited and any input is welcome! THe one thing I really want to know is how hard I should be working during training. I'm going to get a heart rate monitor b/c I think that's pretty important. Other than that, how hard do I run, how hard do I bike & is it high RPM/low resistance or the other way around? Should I be riding a certain way in the immediate time leading up to my second run?
