Thanks for asking. Well it went far better than I should have expected but not as well as I wanted at the beginning of the season.

I finished with a personal best of 11:43.56. Given that I had only swam once since mid July I was pleased with my swim of 1:22.41 but I was very disappointed with my bike at 5:55.15. Going in I really thought it would be at least 20 minutes faster but I shouldn't complain, up to that day I had a total of 1650 on the road, my worst preparation ever. My run was reasonable but this is where I think the surgery hurt me. Though I didn't feel any real pain, I think the healing process took more out of me than I knew. I finished 4:14.11, another personal best but again short of the goal I had set of around 3:45.

Still I was 78 out of 305 and I really shouldn't complain. I will give another shot in 2010.
