I have been trying lately to add a little speed to my runs. I had a long run Wed and I was convinced that I had finally broken the 10 mile barrier in 2 hours 13 min(slow I know but what the hey...). So I proudly got in my car and mapped it out-a little over 9 miles. Good grief! I thought it was a whole lot better than that. Then today was just an hour run so I tried to keep a faster pace and get 5 miles. But NOOOOO! Had trouble getting close to 5-just missed it! Please tell me as I lose weight, I will automatically get faster. I have 20+ pounds to lose before the fall races I have planned-a mary and an oly tri.

I just get so ticked off at drivers on the road I run on making no effort to slide over a little when there is no traffic in the other lane. Is it fun to make the fat girl dive on to the shoulder? And no, I don't know the way to Seaworld. Can you believe someone shouted that out the window? Just blowing off a little steam.......Thanks!
