Subject: Calf pain diagnosis?

Probably the last thing is to ask for a diagnosis here, but let's give it a shot.

At the end of a long swim I was doing some drills with zoomers and had my calf muscles cramp and freeze up.  I immediately stopped the workout since I was almost done anyway.

A week later though and I'm having difficulty running, as my right calf muscles are giving me troubles.  Swims and bike rides are fine though.  I've muscled through several runs but am nervous that I'm altering my stride and therefore causing other problems.

Anybody have this happen to them?  Know how long recovery takes?  Suggestions?  I'm coming into peak training time for a mid-June race.
